St Edward's Owen Walker wins the 2015 CSAA Cross Country City Meet for 4th grade boys. It was held Monday October 6th at EP Sawyer Park in Louisville Ky. Owen covered the 1200 meter (.75 mle) course in an impressive time of 4:29.4.
Owen had one of the most successful cross country season ever for a St Edward Boy. The bigger the race the better he ran. Owen finished 4th at the Kentucky State Cross Country Meet for 4th & under boys (over 550 boys competed). Owen completed the tough, hilly Masterson Station Park 2K course in 7:40.30. Owen's impressive performance at State helped him win Jefferson County's "Runner Of The Year" for 4th & under boys as voted on by Ky Cross Country Coaches Assoc.
